SHED at Indigo Fashion Edition, Paris September 2011

SHED Graduate Design Stand
at Indigo Paris 2011

Fiona Ross, Pathway Leader of Knitted Textiles and co-creator of Shed Textiles curated an eye-catching stand of graduates textiles work at Indigo, Paris 2011. This year Fiona was assisted by graduate Louise Burton (2011) and colleague Alison Firth.

Once again the response to graduate work was incredibly positive with many companies stopping by to look for new and innovative pieces.

Other tutors from the course went out to Paris for a day visit to research trends at Premier Vision, network with design companies and to see graduates Beth Pryer and Harri Batty who were showing as part of TEXPRINT 2011.

The aim of SHED is to act as an interface between graduates and business. This year many companies showed their interest in working with our graduate designers.

In September 2012 SHED co-creator Paul Murphy Pathway Leader of Printed Textiles will be at the helm, presenting our future graduates work at this international showcase.
