TEXPRINT Competition 2011

Congratulations to our BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design graduates 

who have been recognised by the prestigious TEXPRINT Competition 2011. 

Beth Pryer, Printed Textiles graduate (11) and Harri Batty, Knitted Textiles 

graduate (11) were two of the lucky 24 winners who showed at Texprint 2011 

at Chelsea College of Art last week. 

Competition winners have the opportunity to present their design collections 

at the international design show INDIGO/PremièreVision, Paris, in September.

Harri Batty was also awarded sponsorship to exhibit her work at Spinexpo, 

in Shanghai in September 2011.

Further prizes will be awarded in Paris in September. Other prize winners 

also included Catherine Tremellen RCA - a recent graduate of the 

BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design Course (Knit 2009).
